Initial Client Requirement
Our client needed major digital transformation to migrate all emails and data to Microsoft 365 and have advice on best practices moving forward. They also needed a comprehensive database to manage and report on their own mission delivery as the company grows. A myriad of spreadsheets were reliant on one person and had numerous flaws, and they were losing over £20K annually in un-invoiced work.

What we did:
We first created a Microsoft 365 tenant, set up users and migrated all emails and data. After demonstrating the way that a proposed, bespoke build of an Access database would work for them, the client committed to the project. A new database was built with data transfer from the multitude of spreadsheets, and training carried out. The new database allowed the company to continue operating with very little stress, and with the support of Hive. Hive continue to support the system with database changes as required and email/data backup.
What they said
“The database that Hive built bespoke for our company met a need that could not be found by any other software. It overcame a previous system which was cumbersome as we experienced significant growth and gives a much better way for us to deliver our own day to day business operations. Our migration to 365 for emails, data and BCDR has given us peace of mind that we are now much better positioned with systems and compliance that will meet our needs for many years to come.”
“I have been most impressed with the recommendations, expertise and knowledge of the whole team at Hive which have been phenomenal. They delivered exactly as promised and as developed over the feasibility stage. The team have been, and are, easily contacted when required, have made further developments in a timely and accurate manner and assisted with training of our staff to overcome resistance to change.”
“Hive have been a pleasure to deal with at every stage and we continue to have an ongoing relationship with them on our IT and systems.”
